1. To begin, click the Start button, select 'Settings' then 'Dial-up Networking'.
2. double-click the 'Make New Connection' icon.
3. A dialog box will open welcoming you to the Network Connection Wizard, click 'Next'.
4. Select the 2nd option 'I have an existing Internet account', and click 'Next'.
5. Select option one on this screen, and click 'Next'.
6. Select 'Connect using my phone line', and click 'Next'.
7. Select 'Create a new dial-up connection', and click 'Next'.
8. Type 08451231712 into the telephone number box (leave area code blank). Make sure that the 'Use area code' and 'dialing rules' boxes are unchecked, and click 'Next'.
9. Type in your username and password and click 'Next'. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, please refer to your Vantech Media welcome e-mail, or contact Vantech Media.
10. Select the 'No' option, and click 'Next'.
11. Type the name for your new connection: 'Vantech Media', and click 'Next'.

The following instructions explain how to set up an e-mail account using Microsoft Outlook Express.

1. Select 'Yes' to 'Do you want to set up an Internet mail account now?', and click 'Next'.
2. In the 'Display name' box, Type your name and click 'Next'.
3. In the 'E-mail address' box enter the e-mail address that you chose on registration (e.g. joebloggs@vspeed.net) and click 'Next'.
4. In the drop down menu select 'POP3' as the 'incoming mail server type'.
5. Type 'mail.vspeed.net' as the 'Incoming mail server' address.
6. Type 'mail.vspeed.net' as the 'Outgoing mail server address', and click 'Next'.
7. Enter your 'username' and password and click 'Next'.
8. Type the a name for your mail account: 'Vantech Media' and click 'Next'.
9. Select 'No' to setting up a News account, and click 'Next'.
10. Select 'No' to setting up a Directory Service account, and click 'Next'.
11. Click 'Finish' and 'Yes' to restart your computer.
12. Once your computer has restarted, click the Start button, select 'Settings' then 'Dial-up Networking'. Right-click your 'Vantech Media' icon and select 'Properties'.
13. Select the 'Server Type' tab and make sure that the type of Dial-up server is set to 'PPP: Windows 95, Windows NT 3.5, Internet'.
14. Make sure that all remaining checkboxes are unchecked except the 'TCP/IP' box and click 'OK'.

To use your new Vantech Media Internet connection, click the Start button, select 'Settings' then 'Dial-up Networking' and double-click the 'Vantech Media' icon.
